About Me
My name is Carina Schmitz and I am a Jikiden Reiki Shihan Kaku (assistant teacher) based in Hamburg, Germany. My personal journey with Reiki began through my own experience with chronic migraine and the search for sustainable ways to support relaxation, self-regulation, and inner balance.
What deeply resonated with me in Jikiden Reiki is its traditional Japanese approach, passed down in direct lineage from Mikao Usui. I value the clarity, professionalism, and authenticity of the practice and teaching. Alongside my Reiki work, I also have a background in health coaching, communication, and employee wellbeing.
My Reiki sessions take place at Praxis Medosophos in Hamburg-Barmbek, a quiet and welcoming practice space dedicated to holistic wellbeing. I also offer home visits and Reiki sessions at events when appropriate.
The practice provides a peaceful environment where clients can slow down, relax deeply, and reconnect with themselves in a supportive atmosphere.
